What are Swim Team Dues used for ?
- Swim Meet Entry Fees
- Team provided equipment (kickboards, fins, etc.)
- Food at the swim meets for swimmers
- Food at social events
- Year End Awards, Trophies, Senior Gifts
- Additional/Replacement of Swim Equipment
- Coach Samuels should be notified if swimmer will not participate in a practice or meet. Coach makes the decisions concerning practice and meets.
- Coach Samuels selects which events a swimmer will swim during a meet. These selections are based on putting the team in the best position to be successful as a team at the meet.
How is Swim Team Travel departure times determined?
- Bus transportation is provided for the team. Departure is from ECHS.
- Bus departure times are determined 2-3 days prior to the meet. Departure times are based upon the assigned warm up time for the team at the meet.
- Warm up times are determined by the HOST team after all registration for the meet is closed and total number of participates is known.
- This unknown leads to last minute bus schedule changes so be prepared to be flexible.
- A Heat sheet is used at Swim Meets to identify what event, heat, and lane a swimmer will be swimming in at the meet.
- Heat Sheets are usually available for a small donation at the door of meets.
